Learn With Us / The approach

Learning that connects what you know with what you do.

Effective learning is more than completing a course. It is about developing knowledge, applying it in practice, demonstrating competence and achieving meaningful progression.

The detail

Clear information for a confident next step.

A connected experience

ATC designs learning around the link between knowledge, practical skill and evidence. The detail varies by programme, but learners should be able to see what they are learning, why it matters and how they will demonstrate it.

Delivery may include online live learning, e-learning, classroom sessions, workplace assessment or blended learning.

What learners can expect

  • Clear information about the course, outcomes and assessment route.
  • Learning activities that relate to safe, effective and person-centred care.
  • Opportunities to ask questions, practise and receive useful feedback.
  • A fair route to evidence competence, with support where an eligible need affects access or assessment.
  • A conversation about next steps when the programme is complete.

The right route depends on the context

ATC will confirm the programme-specific arrangements before enrolment. Entry requirements, timetable, workplace access, assessment methods and support are not assumed to be identical across every course.
